Wow! What an awesome night! Thanks to all who came to the Motown Throwdown last night! I haven't done the final calculations yet of our profit, but we grossed $975....so we came out waaaaaaaay more than even! And, nobody puked or wrecked the house!!! YAY!!!!! I will update you on Monday evening. I am off to the cottage!

We're In The Money!

Hey everyone. Well, if design doesn't work out for us, we should surely open a restaurant in the lobby of 100 McCaul, cuz we'd all get rich. In two days, we netted $1250.90!!! Big thank yous to the following people for making stuff and/or helping out: Nate Archer, Alex Seth, Maiwenn, Eloise, Mike Tam, Mike Farnham, Matt Fraser, Sarah Zive, Jenn Niven, Rachel Wallach, Karen Cardona, Stefa, Christine Hunt, Naseer, Russel, Mahmood, Minah, Justyna, Mauricio, Bilal, Lawrence, Meghan Goodfellow, Danny, Jasmin and Celia. Extra Big thanks to Lindsay, Kristen and Jack for working SUPER hard and not even being in our thesis class!!!!!!

It makes me really happy to see that this list of people helping is getting longer!!!

MOTOWN THROW DOWN!

Hey everyone, in spirit of raising some money for thesis, 21 Borden is hosting a Motown Throwdown Party!
Read flyer for details... Yes there will be kegs, we need volunteers to help out with set-up, clean up, and people to help keep watch during the party to keep things under control. Invite people, (nice people & no underaged kids).

Hello everyone,

On Feb 9th 2007, (Following Friday), we are having a little social gathering/party with 2nd, 3rd, 4th years industrial design students and faculty members. This is our first official meeting with all of ID students and faculty members, and we are planning to have pizza, pops… Have fun, and get to know each others…(try to create network and “cool” relationship with different years) We are also planning to go to the bar afterwards, so please COME!

TUES FEB 13--SOUP SALE
Just like the last one. Can everyone bring whatever they brought last time? Crock pots, griddles etc....Also, we need more soup this time. So far we have three makers, we need at least 3 more people to make 4 gallons of soup. Who's in? Russel, will we be able to use the Queen Mum?

WED FEB 14--VALENTINE"S BAKE SALE
We are going to be selling baked goods, Valentines, Candy Grams and maybe even handmade cards. We especially need goodies. Who can bake or buy stuff ton bring in? Cake, cookies, candy--anything. especially Valentine stuff...Please

FRI FEB 16-- ALEX'S KEGGER
Alex Seth and his kind roomies have volunteered their house for a KEG party. It's a MOTOWN THROWDOWN, which means lots of great music and costumes are a must. $10 gets you lotsa beer, $12 if you're not in costume. We need helpers to set up the evening of, and people to stay and clean up afterwards.
